SOME SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO BEST ENJOY YOUR FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
BEFORE THE FLIGHT
If you have heart or lung problems, allergies or types of asthma, check with your doctor before you fly and ask him to fill in the Medical Information Form (MEDIF) not more than 7 days before your departure.
DURING THE FLIGHT
To prevent the minor disturbances that can be caused by variations in altitude, especially during take-off and landing, we suggest you yawn deeply, drink water and chew gum or suck on a candy.
Drink water and avoid alcoholic beverages before and during the flight, get up at regular intervals to stretch your legs and avoid uncomfortable shoes in order to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT syndrome).
Get a good night’s sleep before your flight to counteract the effects of jet-lag and, if your stay abroad is not more than 2 nights, try to stick to your own normal “biological clock”. If your stay is longer, lead a healthy lifestyle so that you can adapt to the local time as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that jet-lag recovery time tends to be shorter when traveling west.
LEARN ABOUT THE USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES DURING THE FLIGHT, IN ORDER TO AVOID INTERFERENCE WITH ON-BOARD TOOLS AND SYSTEMS.
Hearing aids, pacemakers, electronic neurostimulators, electronic watches and other low-consumption devices using micro-batteries or solar batteries are always allowed.
DEVICES ALLOWED WHILE ON THE GROUND OR AT CRUISE ALTITUDES
Unless otherwise indicated by the flight crew, the following may be used on the ground and at cruising altitude: computers and handheld devices not connected via wireless to accessories, CD/DVD/MP3 players, USB storage drives, tape or digital audio/visual recorders, analogue and digital cameras, portable electronic games and toys without remote control devices. These devices may not be switched on nor used during takeoff or landing. Audio and AV devices can be used only with a headset or earphones. All wireless devices must be switched off once you are on board the airplane and must remain so for the entire duration of the flight.The use of cell phones, smartphones and tablets is permitted only on the ground and when the doors of the aircraft are open; when the doors of the aircraft are closed the use of these devices is permitted, exclusively, in "in-flight" mode. It is possible to re-activate the devices once landed or after specific notice of the on-board crew or once the aircraft doors have been opened.
The following devices may never be used during any phase - on the ground, takeoff, cruising or landing - of the flight: printers, scanners, PC and handheld computer wireless connections and connected devices, CD/DVD and minidisk recorders or burners, AM or FM radios, TVs and screens with cathode ray tubes, electronic games connected by wireless, devices with remote controls, two-way communication devices (i.e. walkie-talkies, CB radios, beepers, etc.), telemetry devices or any other device that intentionally emits radio frequency signals. Special meals are divided into three categories, and for each one of these you can ask for specific types of dishes to meet your special needs:
If you suffer from a peanut allergy, you can request a meal that does not contain any traces of peanuts.
We aim to offer a service in line with your dietary requirements. In any case, in view of the complex production and loading process, we cannot guarantee that meals are completely free of traces of allergens. Please inform us of any food intolerances and the cabin crew will be happy to give you documentation about the allergens present in our meals.

"Make phone calls, send texts and surf the web with international roaming":
When you are allowed to connect your device, it will automatically pick up the signal and connect to the network: then, you will be able to make phone calls, send texts and emails, browse the Internet and post on social media.
The availability of services and international roaming tariffs applied depends on the agreement between your operator and the supplier of the inflight roaming service (AeroMobile).
